Seafield was established in 1947 by the Braddick family, and is still run by the family today.
Hobart Braddick and his son Leslie opened the site for business in 1947, with chalets and caravans. Many of these villas and caravans still stand today including our Kipling and Lundy View Villas.
The photograph on the left shows the site's founder Hobart with a friend on Westward Ho! Beach ready for a morning surf. This photograph was taken in the early 1920s.
